    Hi all
Not posted for a while. Having a nightmare at the moment, subsidence at home. Got to have ceilings pulled down and other messy stuff so think it would be better to move Apollo out while it’s done. Looking for anyone who could have him for me, don’t know exact date yet but it’ll be in the next few weeks. I can drive to wherever you are, I have a small cage I can bring him in, will supply food and he’s fully insured. If you can’t help me yourself can you recommend a bird sitting service?
Willing to pay but I can’t afford much due to huge insurance excess I’ve got to find. Appreciate any advice or offers to help.
    Thanks everyone

Hi Beanikki its good to see you back but I am sorry its owing to problems in your home, I agree it will most likely be best to move Apollo away from the dust and new painting that will have to take place, I will tag @DizzyBlue @TomsMum to see if they can remember whom lives your way, good luck

Sorry to hear this how awful for you and what an expense too.
Where in UK do you live?

Goodness .... sounds awful, I hope you can get it resolved OK.
The professional boarders I know of will be fully booked up and the daily charge is quite expensive.

Has Apollo been health checked/disease tested as that may have a bearing on members if they have their own birds?

i’m going to tag in @Wakizashi21 to see if he knows anyone that may be able to help.

    Good Morning all,

I will ask around today. Can you please let me know how long you expect to leave them with the sitters? Are they disease tested?

    Hi everyone
    Thanks for all the replies.
No he’s not disease tested but lives alone and doesn’t go outside.
I would say 2-3 weeks in total would be enough.
Please don’t worry if you can’t help, I’ll sort something, was just putting feelers out to see what was what .

Do you have a good avian vet who may be able to board him or know of someone locally who would.
