:welcome:Sorry to hear this. I guess you have been to an avian vet?
Let's see what our members can advise.

What condition/symptoms are you using the nebuliser for?

Our avian vet recommended an F10 neb when our budgies were sneezing and we do it a couple of times a week. He advised a ratio of 1 part F10SC to 500 parts of water i.e. 2ML in a litre of water. We cover the bird cage and nebulise for about 20 mins. We then allow the cage to air dry for another 20 minutes before uncovering it and allowing the birds back in.

The point of F10 nebulising is that you are disinfecting the environment, not the bird(s). F10 is a very effective and safe disinfectant but direct inhalation should be avoided, as I understand it.

Hello and welcome, is the nebuliser being used on instructions of an avian vet? It is difficult to answer your question with out knowing a little of your birds history and how its progressed to need nebulisation, is he eating and drinking ok? How old is your bird? what is his name? dose he sleep a lot or is he active? one of my greys stopped talking for over five years, was nothing wrong with him he is now talking, the owner had him checked at the time with no known cause,

Yes I have been to a avian vet they gave me antibiotics and f10 solution which he diluted and said I must use twice a day to nebulize for 10 to 15min morning and night I have been doing this for two week know yet my baby won't talk or whisle loud any more, I'm rather worried. Should I go back to the vet or continue nebulizing. The vet said my grey has a vitamin deficency. I have since changed his diet more veg and fruit to seeds and pellets.
