Hi,
My name's Jessica, me and my bf own 2 male kakariki. Taz was my boyfriend's bird who's 3 years old. We had Tigger a few months ago. The birds are getting along well now and Tigger's slowly learning to trust humans my bf named Taz due to him being a trouble maker. I picked the name Tigger because when we bought him we were told he couldn't fly so figured he'd hop around a lot. couple weeks later that soon changed!

No, his mom had a habit of biting his tail for some reason so he couldn't fly properly. Also his nails were quite overgrown so he had trouble getting off furniture etc (we got them clipped at the vets because I was too nervous ).

He's grown a new tail through since we had him which I think has helped him fly better. He still needs to tidy them up a bit though

yes they do have long nails as they use them in the wild for scratching on the floor to get there food, pleased the tail is growing back
