Hi everyone as i told you few weeks ago i rehomed a new female parrot,a senegal one, her name is Zuri and she is the sister of Merlin my other female senegal.

They have the same age too!!

However Zuri is getting along nice with me and my family but not with the rest of the birds. She is very antisocial i can say. She attacks the rest 3 parrots or flies away.

I do not know what to do,it is early yet but i want to buy a huge cage and put all the sennies together near Christmas!!!

In three pics you can see my silly caique Seth, 2 photos of my pair, Loki and Merlin , and 3 pics of my Zuri...in one of them she was really mad at the mobile's phone flash hahaha!!!!

Hi Nikol.... Good to hear from you, and lovely pics of your birds... I love that one of Seth.

Diana used to breed Sennies and she will be back on line later on...she may well have some hints on helping you to get Zuri better integrated with your flock.

Lovely photos.

Unfortunately some Sennies are very much like Zuri and will attack the others.  She may settle given time but I would be unsure about putting her in a cage with Merlin.  They can be very territorial, all mine have their own cages, however, they have got used to coming out together.

I would not put her with the others.  the females can attack and to have her in the same cage will stop the others from getting away and you may end up with a dead bird.  If she dose start to chose a partner (not her brother) that may be different.
