Hi everyone

Martin here

New and looking to improve the life of my moody Senne

Like everyone who has any kind of additional family member I would like to know more about her.

She's about 5 years old, and I've had her for around 4. I was given her by a friend who rescued her from someone who didn't want her, didn't look after her and didn't care.

She's has delusions of being a veloceraptor on occasions and at other times she is merely a beady eyed sneaky little git   I wouldn't change her for the world...

She, like all, loves attention and I get given the cold shoulder if I've been out however all is forgiven after a lengthy neck scratch........

She's had a few traumatic times including 3 house moves but has been settled for some time now.

We hope to glean lots of info and advice from theses pages

Hi and welcome  :bye:  from me and my Ekkie (eclectus) Alfie.

Your little Senne sounds quite a character- would love to see any pics if you have any?

Aww she's gorgeous, I can see she's got the 'what you looking at' face lol x

Hi from me and my grey Ruby, welcome to the forum.

A lot of us here have moody birds and even if the help sometimes is how to avoid the bites, we're also a place where you can come and lick your wounds.

Like you say though, all part of their character! She does look gorgeous, I can see how you can forgive her the moods!

Hi there and welcome, :welcome:  to you both.  She does look lovely, there are loads of sennie lovers on this forum, for all their faults, and I am sure will be along soon.

Hi  :welcome:   from me and my flock which includes 3 sennies!

Yes they are right little characters, always up to mischief keeping us on our toes and we need eyes in the back of our heads.

A fly by nip and bite is not unusual by any means     it happens a lot here!  but you do get to read their body language (if you get the chance).

Love her photos and that cheeky little face - they lull you into a false sense of security very easily!

My 3 are getting on a bit now - we hand reared 2 of them now aged 19 and another one we bought  now of a similar age and he's not particularly tame.

They all have their own cages but come out together.  One of them has talked twice in its 19 years! but prefers not to.

Whats your Sennies name?

Hello and welcome to the forum. I love senegals and have three myself work with others as well. You will find us. Very friendly and we do.not bite as much

Many thanks for the warm welcome.

Jenna is currently roosting but I'm sure she will be up and about tomorrow and making my life that much brighter and keeping me on my toes lol
