My name is Tulio, I am from Brazil and I just moved to Gloucestershire 2 months ago. I am not very new member here since I joined this club around 3 months ago but I just saw the possibility to introduce myself now. First of all - Sorry about my English. I am still learning. :emoji_blush: So I am an animal lover and since I saw the possibility of living in UK I started to think about to purchase some "Kids":emoji_hearts: :emoji_baby_chick::emoji_hearts: And now I have got a complete family that composes: Two Senegal Parrots (Lua and Polly), Two Queens of Bavaria (Sol and Sky) and Two macaws (Kyra - Scarlet Macaw and Guri - Blue and Gold). I am more than help to know a bit more of you and share experiences and happiness about our Children of wings.

:welcome: Your English is very good anyway do not worry over that. Well you have quite a few parrots already and we would love to see some photos of them.
Did you keep parrots when you lived in Brazil, we have a member who lives there @Ararajuba who I am sure will be on the forum again before too long.
Any question you may have do ask as there is usually someone who can offer advice.

Hi Diana. :emoji_smiley:

Thank you! I am trying my best to speaking better and talk with everybody about PARROTS (Of course) :emoji_stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes: Haha. I have just posted some pictures now. Have a look on my Album. About keeping parrots in Brazil, Yes! But I had Cockatiels and my uncle and some friends still have amazon parrots since they are a bit common there. So that has always been my world.

Hi Tulio and :welcome: to the forum...wow what a lovely flock you have...... I’m not too far away from you in Somerset

Hi Tulio, welcome to the forum! Your English seems to be coming along quite well - it may be better than my Portuguese, in fact. What part of Brazil do you originally come from? Where in Gloucestershire are you now? I lived in Gloucestershire for some years, and also in Wales, before moving to Brazil, where I now live. We seem to have made approximately the same journey, in opposite directions!

I'm quite interested in getting golden conures myself in the future, as you may guess from my username and picture! Obviously they are a little easier to obtain here in Brazil, though still quite expensive of course. Did you get yours in the UK, or bring them with you from Brazil? What are they like as pets?

I was trying to write for you (After I see your profile picture) before you write to me but it didn't had option on your profile to send messages. :emoji_joy: So I am from Mato Grosso in Brazil and I am currently living in Berkeley. About the Queens what could I tell you...? They are EXTREMELY lovely bird but that's the problem. They need much more attention than any other birds that I have seen before. They are aways FULL of energy. :emoji_sweat_smile: Believe me Macaws are such big birds but they are much easier to look after than Queens (Just to be clear - That is mine experience but maybe someone can disagree about it).

I purchased all my birds here in UK. Its very expensive but would be almost the same costs bringing them from Brazil. It was a hard Job to find them here but here I am with my big flock. :emoji_baby_chick::emoji_two_hearts::emoji_grinning:

If you need anymore information about them just let me know.
