Hello everyone. It’s great to be here with you. Emmy is my ring necked parakeet, and is about 5/6 months old. I decided to join because I’m looking for tips for feeding, training and generally looking after my friend. I’ve had birds before, but not had an active, screechy bird. He’s settled well, but still gets worried when we approach the cage. Any tips will be greatly appreciated appreciated.

As for me, I’m full time at home so Emmy gets a lot of attention at the moment. I love having him around, and it’s great being called by him in the morning. We’ve had animals of all sorts, so I’m not new to animals. I just want to give my baby a good and loving home, and to do the right thing by him.

Hi. Thank you for your welcome. Also, thank you for the training threads. Is there any way these can be saved or how do I find them again?
 
Welcome from me too.
Go to the main page scroll down and you will see headings on the left, there's one for Training and another for Behaviour, click on them and information will come up. Hope this helps.
