Hi all, like it says on my profile my name is Stewart, I have a sun conure called Phoenix who spends most of his time on me, screeching at me, chewing my clothes or ratting about inside my shirt. A full time pain in the butt and the most amazing pet I have ever had. Also have two cocker spaniels that he terrorizes. I'm looking forward to getting to know you all.

I must agree the sun conure is an amazing bird. Well hello and welcome to this friendly site. they are special and love to give us cuddles, Can I ask what made you think about getting a parrot? you know it can be dangerous as one quite often ends up with more. Being so nosey is part of these birds ways and you cannot help but love them.019.JPG

Thanks for the welcomes everyone.
Hi Michael, I have always liked exotic things especially colorful things, I have had all sorts of colorful fish over the years including a coral reef aquarium. And you cant get much more colorful than a parrot, I just loved the bright cheerful look of the sun conures, and you are right I'm already thinking about my next parrot. I would love a macaw but I'm worried about Phoenix being smaller so I might just stick with conures.

I am lucky as my Macaws are not bothered by to other birds including the sun and Jendaya but I have been introducing birds of different species for quite a few years and its getting to know your birds and there body language. View attachment 25781 008.JPG
