Great post @DizzyBlue, I've myself have been on the receiving end of being bitten by Jess' birds. They usually happen when you least expected them to. They suddenly take flight and dive bomb my face going at my face with their beaks like a pneumatic drill. The last attack happened a few months ago, the scar has only just healed and was only just millimetres away from my eye.

Bare in mind that I'm an adult that has many years experience with owning birds, I darn't to think what would happen if our birds was to have attacked a small child instead.

Hi all. Sorry to bother you again. Went to the pet shop today and they had some conures and I loved them. They were so playful and cheeky. Has any 1 got any and what are your thoughts about them. Thanks

Green cheeked I think it was it had a bit of red in its tail
Green cheeks are fun naughty an nippy. They love to be where you are in everything you do. They go threw a bluffing phase an i found them to be the worst. Dont let it put you off they are loving a full of energy but need boundaries. Actually have some just hatched in the next box.
