Having his mum right next to me offering food to her is so precious…but she’s not staying there with us. She raises her foot so I will place her next to her mate at the nestbox. She’s so lazy 🥰🥰. And then they both look at me with their young supervising if I’m doing the job right 😂😂😂
 
No no no feathers are ok. That little one is getting such a nice bird really. So friendly, playful but independent.
What confuses me is that is getting lighter colored and those grey feathers underneath its tail makes me questioning its sex 🤪
 
You can't sex an African Grey bird by its feathers I have a very dark hen and a light grey hen and one with red splashes amongst the grey she is what is termed a king grey.
