Got this at a car boot, rekon it's safe for aviary?
Don't know - @DizzyBlue ??? anyone???
Come on you gardeners as i am sorry i do not know
pass … reminds me of eel grass but its definitely not that stuff ….
@Roz @TomsMum any thoughts …. there's some weird stuff growing down there in the bottom corner of the country
somehow reminds me of one of the Carex variegated ornamental grasses ….
Mmmm not sure sorry
Well it's not Panicum, Festuca or Arrowgrass all of which can cause stomach upset in horses and cattle - those are the only "toxic" grasses I found. Grasses aren't usually toxic. May well be a Carex... maybe 'Silver Sceptre' cultivar. Could be Pleioblastus fortunei 'Variegata' which is a ground cover bamboo so also non toxic. How tall is it @Yellowchickenparrot ?
It's only a inch or two high it spreads along the ground
