Goffy feather pulling!

@Derek Mankelow he sure is stunning hun. Just wish my Lou loved her feathers instead of being butt naked.
Just to say I had Goffy's age in mind and ailments do pop up in 'too's in captivity, wanted you to just be mindful now and in future.
I purchased a second hand cage from a lovely guy who lost a U2, she had gone way before her time IMHO, some foresight, action sooner would things be different IDK. He was cut up at her loss for sure.

Here we are - around 6 weeks from the last update on our Goffy for all you good people wondering what has happened since early December following that feather pulling episode that came out of the blue in October. There were plenty of 'new shoots' but he has still a long way to go to fill in the gaps. Certainly some new feathers have grown but he also didn't leave the new ones to grow in 100% of cases. Some I saw him pull at with his left foot. Sometimes he was just fussing with them, but whatever the reason there is still some baldness just on that left cheek area. Everything else seems as normal in terms of preening, playing, eating, getting upto mischief, he remains the same - all positive signs - as he has throughout this bizarre episode....a bit of a puzzle still.
