My grapes are doing well even if the birds do keep stealing them!

Wow look at those grapes! I know absolutely zero about gardening
Tried to grow sunflowers a couple of years ago and slugs ate them all :(

Bought the plants from Aldi ..... hmmm can't remember the type etc was last year didn't actually expect them to do anything as they were old stock being sold off cheap.
But they seem to have taken and be happy enough survived the winter ok and hey presto!

Grapes are easy, people seem to think we cant grow them in the uk ..yet i bet you have chugged a bit of english wine .i know an excellent website if anyones intrested for many kinds of grapes suitable for our climate including dessert grapes for eating which were always the difficult ones to grow.ive ordered a few root stocks which will look pretty cool growing over an aviary with free fruit to boot.
the site are very helpful and sell alsorts of unusual heritage fruits and veg etc.x

Weirdo plant opened it's flower this morning and thought great will take a picture tonight ..... weirdo plant has closed it again!!!
But I can tell you the petals are rounded on the tips not pointed and it's a lovely lemon yellow with a white stripe central to each petal flowing outwards to the tip.

So can categorically say ...... still none the fecking wiser :risas3:
