For those feeling like a little foraging is good for their birds
I couldn't find the original thread for this particular one on here no idea where it has gone too!
But with a bit of sisal string you can also make forage posy's
Collect grasses and things like red clover dandelions and just tie with a little bit of string, double check the plants you collect are what you think they as well better to be safe than sorry.
Remember to collect from untreated areas plants are systemic so no weed killers please! Also make sure you collect from places that are not at the side of the road and don't have dogs weeing up the plants!
Alfie when he arrived apparently didn't like fruit and veggies and wouldn't interact with things like this ….
