No they have been unshelled. At the moment I am using nuts to get him to come to me to take them by his cage door with it open. He accepted hand feeding on the first day with us going to him so now I am making him come to me which he is doing. I have managed to stroke his head a couple of times but hes not comfortable so working on that slowly. Can I check please as know back and wings are a no go area am I right in thinking side of face, top of head and beak are fine? What about the neck area under his beak please? Thanks for your help.I train using pine nuts have you given walnut in there shell and let your Macaw have fun getting to it, both buster and Jackie will not take the nuts if they are shelled,
Well he has been non stop eating lol so guessing it has the seal of approval [emoji1787] hes also tried carrot again today and some basil, coriander and mint so we are getting there slowly.Yes its a good mix.
