We had to say goodbye to Moss. She was 11 years old this year, a grand old age for a linnie. We bought her from someone who was getting rid of their linnies, she came with her 5 friends. they were kept in breeding cages in the hills of Wales. We met up at Welshpool just before Wales went into lockdown again (remember that time) and were in separate carriers, paired up but Moss was with another male.Of course when I got them home they all went together and she paired up with Gwyrdd.
She had been indoors since December with the others but we didn’t put her out when they did, too risky. She was struggling to breathe this past week, so we made the sad decision to say goodbye. Fly free sweetie.
