Thank-you @Lozhinge and Diana. It's just taken me three attempts to log in and three attempts to give your (@Lozhinge's) comment a "like" (first time lucky with Diana's though) so I'm not confident. I've been having these problems on the site for a few days.

I'll leave it there for now. The first one loaded okay, the second, third and fifth came up with a "parsing attempt failed" message first time but loaded on the second attempt, and the fourth loaded first time but took quite a while. It then took two attempts at clicking "post reply" to achieve success. And as you can see, it has also left some thumbnails at the bottom.

I hate this expression and process but - have you tried clearing your browser's cookies? Nuisance procedure but it sometimes works.

Thank-you, Diana. My "like" worked first time then but it's just taken me three attempts to log in, two to see my alerts, and then when I clicked on "forums" it said at first "page could not be loaded"

I don't know what a VPN is, so I presume not. I don't know how to clear cookies either I'm afraid. It just took three attempts to get your quotation in my reply, and two to reply to Diana.
