Eggs

I’m wanting to give George and my cockatiels (who I can’t imagine for a minute will eat it) eggs this morning as I’ve read that protein is good for them every so often and as George has a tail feather growing, I’ve also read protein is good for feather regrowth.
My question is, for 3 birds- one amazon and 2 cockatiels, should I do 1 or 2 eggs between them and how long should I hard boil them for?
My next question is, should I give them the white as well or separate the yolk when it is cooked and only give them the yolk?
Would it then be ok to mash it up and mix with red peppers and or red chilli?
Thanks in advance :)

I give most of mine egg boiled and mashed except for Poppy my Eccie if I get too many from the farm chickens then I separate the yoke, the love the yellow part best; in a mix normally with veg and I use fresh peppers diced and include the seed along with greens and diced carrot, my cockatiels love it although they will leave the pepper. I think one egg should be ample for the three of them, others will come up with other mixes they have found works well with there birds.

Thank you, do you just hard boil them for the same amount of time you would it you were eating them or do you do them for a bit longer?
I just wasn’t sure if they could all eat the white and the yolk or if only the yolk was beneficial. I’m hoping that they like them- my cockatiels will eat nothing but seeds even though I have tried and am trying so hard to get them to eat fruit, veg and pellets!

Normal time for boiling them, all the egg parts are fine but I refrain from using the shell myself as I worry about salmonella but I know breeders do use the crushed shell often

the only fruit my tiels will eat is apple but veg side I have no problem they eat more veg than seed Once one starts to eat a new thing others will follow, having eight tiels I think has made it better as they all want what the other is having

Sally Blanchard always says to boil for 20 mins. I usually do this and slice that way it isnt giving too much in one go. The whites usually get dumped and it is the yolk that is liked.
