    Haha thankyou

They didnt have the one you linked me, and it was all cement and concrete that needed to be mixed
But this stuff is ready mixed, just add water! Thought it would be okay

Not doing it today though, im exhausted, went on a 5 mile walk this morning, not my idea of fun  It was alright but I had other stuff needed done! So I'll have to do it through the week or next weekend.

You can buy large stones/small boulders at a builders merchants so if you need a little more weight to anchor it down could be the answer? :)

Hard part is over... I hope, got to give it all a thorough wash and get it up 2 flights of stairs (its quite heavy :risas3:)
Going to add another branch accross the middle too with cable ties
I was lucky to get that branch that twists nice, as the rest were all straight
That branch on the right has a fork that is supporting the bigger one, but it doesnt even need it anyways, that postcrete has been very good at holding them up, no worries of it falling over

Thanks for the help and advice guys

I do really like it... I bet the birds will be terrified of it after all that work

When its done I'll post a pic of it on my windowsill all finished but you'll all have to excuse the awful condensation in my window, its ruined the view. Still at least the birds like to play there :p

Great, but it will be very heaving indeed to lift!

The postcrete has white fluffy stuff on the top of it, im assuming its minerals or salt etc coming out? Surely cant be mold... Then the postcrete still hasnt gone white or grey
Its completely hard and set but I havent put it in my room or let the birds use it yet as im worried it might emit something toxic?

Ive sprayed the branches with F10, will these be okay now?
I did pour boiling water over them before I put it all together now they've been sprayed with F10
Ok to let the birds on now?

Looks GREAT, Heather!!! Have you got a finished picture of it? Can just imagine how heavy that was to carry upstairs!! I'd sandpaper off the white fluffy stuff on top so the birds don't ingest it. Then vacuum it.
