IMG_0390.PNG Oh well The two green cheek conures, Connie and Allen have 2 chicks and 2 eggs still to hatch. Exciting and scary. Trying to make sure all is how they want it, they seem to be doing a great job so far.
Sorry not been on for a while, but thought you would like to hear this news. Hope your all good and your birdies are not too hormonal.

I never do I leave them and let the parents deal with it some how it normally finds its way out side or gets destroyed.

The last egg has now hatched, but is tiny compared to others! Is this normal for one to hatch about 6 days after the others??

Just keep an eye on that the last chickie always has a full crop I had a nest of tiel chicks with last one born 8 days after first one hatched! Also really strange but I just made sure that it always had a full crop by topping up if need be.

Yes definitely, as the older chicks grow the parents will feed them more seeds and less of the softer type food which the little one will struggle to digest so he will probably need formula top ups. Looking forward to seeing the little ones grow xx

IMG_0429.JPG Here is a photo from this morning! The difference in size is a concern! Also why does the nest box look wet at the bottom. Do I change the whole nest to clean????
    All seems ok, but ....Help!!!!
