Well even if it does take 7 days for the deeper results he might as well wait for them back home with you.

If it is asper in the throat often vets will scrape it away while scoping. Mark showed me a video of a Too with it, you could see the white stuff, he gently scraped it away then instead of administering that drug, the really expensive one, he sprayed it all over the infected area so it targeted it straight away.


The bird still went on to have the full treatment course, but was classed as clear for a good year after and presumably longer

Just phoned hes asleep enlarged spleen kidney is bright on xray and something about soft tissue in feet?

They lost him once but brought him round there going in through wind pipe

C'mon bogey!!!!

Its aspers :(

She found a ball of it at the bottom of his wind pipe she managed to scrape a little out and is going to start him on the long course of medication
she is ringing in 2-3 hrs with another update

Not sure what that all means long term, but glad he made it through the anaesthetic! What a relief xx

Aww poor little mite! BUT, they know what it is, there is treatment available and hopefully, he'll be home with you very soon.

Thank goodness little chap is okay and they now have a diagnosis and can start treatment :thumbsup:

Right, take a deep breath, your mind is working overtime. People can share their experiences but your vet will know the best for how to treat Cody. They know what it is, that's a good thing. Treatment will be individual to Cody's needs.

Most of us have used Nebulisers at various times so don't worry about that. All will be explained.
