Chorley Missing - Reunited

David is outside working in the rain and he found Chorley only 2 feet from him, before he could do anything Chorley flew up and across the road. I went round the road to try and catch him but half way my leg gave way and I felt a crunch, landed on the road. Now I can not walk on that leg

@Michael Reynolds sorry for the delay, David has put a cage out the back and I have been calling him but nothing. My leg is killing me so there is little I can do at the moment. The cage looks boring, only has the rope perch in and the food is in the bottom but it is in the front of the sun room so he must be able to see and hear the others.

I hope he will not fly too far away and stay local to you, he will be getting hungry and may look to humans for help, I think it was Chorlie that came next to me when I had some snack whilst visiting.

Wishing you luck in getting him back. He'll probably start calling at first light so be sure to be out and about then. Don't give up - I was in despair when Grumpy escaped last year but I managed to locate and retrieve her eventually by following her morning and evening calls. Throughout the rest of the three days she was largely silent, just sitting in trees.

Sorry not been here earlier but had to go to the hospital etc.

My granddaughter actually came up today to try and help as he loved her but she has not bothered with him for a couple of years, she grew up a little and he gave no response.

I was wondering if I could 'persuade' Lucy into a cage and put her outside, her calls would attract him as he thinks she is his wife. I did wonder about putting her into harness, she has not been in one before but we have been slowly practising, then I could take her to where he calls from and maybe actually see him. I feel sure he would come to Lucy. @Michael Reynolds what do you think?
