Beginning of plucking???

So we are not sure what’s going on… recently we spotted weird bald spot under Blu wing… it’s tiny but both of us were sure it wasn’t there before… yesterday I took her to vet, vet just rang and confirmed whole blood panel came back perfect, but pointed out she was very stressed yesterday, bit more than usual ( they know her well because I often take her for nail trims) and had general chat about other weird behaviour which started long time ago…she throws all food out of her food bowl… so I tried different food bowl, the one which came with cage is big and usually after she thrown all food she would sit in it, so I thought maybe she does it because she wants to nest in it… another bowl didn’t solve problem as she figured out how to throw whole bowl out… so I bought lockable bowl for her… but it was made out of plastic so she chewed it… I kept replacing it with new one but recently she took only one week to totally chew it… so went back to original cage bowl but two days ago she threw all food out (again) and was screaming so loud that my neighbour went to check on her ( bless the neighbour parrots are really not her thing) as she felt sorry for her she filled her bowl… and had to come back two more times… today I’ve put her food bowl to the lower slot and yes she didn’t throw much food but didn’t eat much neither and main exercise was pacing up and down cage and screaming…tiny bald patch looks like beginning of plucking although vet said might be she felt uncomfortable to who knows what reason and just pull few feathers and won’t continue … it’s been pointed out to us that seems she is bored/stressed and engages in compulsive behaviours to find comfort… vet will ring me tomorrow morning as he will have more time to talk ( they are having emergency situation at the moment and I want to talk to particular vet) but maybe anyone here has an idea what we could do…

My guess it's hormones playing up as it is likely breeding time, so she would like a nest box? A wooden or cardboard box on the floor of the cage may keep her happy for now until the feeling passes.
I am sure other members will be along with ideas too.

The bowl thing made me laugh
She empties it you fill it she chucks it you gather it up and replace it..... ever get the feeling your being trained for giving attention?
Two of my birds to it one of which will jump in the bowl chuck some out and then pop back to the other corner of the cage and peer around at me to see if I am going to react.
I was worried my birds would end up doing it while I am out and would have no food .... work around for me was to pop an extra bowl of food on the floor of the cage it gets eaten but never thrown around apparently it doesn't make enough noise to attract my attention and have me rushing over fretting about them. as for the little feather loss under the wing .... top tip don't look ..... reason being if it is attention seeking and every time she looks or does something and you rush over .... guess what?
Blood panel come back fine well done you but that also tells you that there is nothing wrong which means .... your more than likely being "sucked" in and being trained and conditioned .... just like me!

Jessie threw two large flight feathers today. The back of her neck and top of her head are full of pin feathers. She's moody too. It's that time of the year :)

I tend not to get excited when unusual things happen. They are parrots, so unusual is normal. Monitor, but from a distance.

Yeah the food bowl thing is absolute madness 🤦‍♀️I will put her bowl to lower slot again and see, we won’t be home all day so maybe she will decide to eat instead of pacing and screaming…

Yay there is definitely fluff growing there where was the bare patch, I could see it very clear today… I think in whole situation I totally forgot that she is going to be two years old at some point this year or maybe just turned two (we don’t know her exact hatch date)probably her hormones are on high and in general she suddenly became little sass queen😂
