Ingredients: banana
Preparation:
Mash it up
Put in in a tub in the freezer

For some reason the banana doesn't completely freeze and takes up the consistency of ice cream.

Tried it, left it in the freezer all night and its a solid lump haaha, I have put it the fridge oh well I should have tried it first before posting darn it..

That reminds me I have not used my ice cream maker for 2yrs now!

I would say mash bananas in a mixer or liquidiser add double cream, milk and sugar, mix well it should thicken a bit and then tip into a tub and freeze.

Maybe I should have put mine in freezer for short while only or keep in freezer until required and then in fridge for a while

Easiest recipe for sorbets and ice cream...
Lemon ice cream
* 1 large lemon, zest grated and juice squeezed out
* 7oz Caster sugar
* 8fl oz milk
* 8fl oz cream

Prepare a loaf tin by lining it with cling film, (allow cling film to flap over the edge).

Combine the zest and sugar
Stir in the milk until the sugar is dissolved
Stir in the lemon juice
Whip the cream
Fold the cream into the mixture and pour into the loaf tin

Freeze for 3 hrs

This also works really well with Seville oranges 😀 but you need to use 3 Seville oranges, 7oz caster sugar and 1 pint of double cream.

Raspberry Ice

225 gms raspberries
185 ml sugar syrup (cooled)
Juice of a lemon

Blast raspberries and sugar syrup in a blender.
Seive to remove pips (it's worth pushing the fruit through the seive with a spoon)
Add lemon juice

Freeze in a plastic container, stirring every half hour until it is frozen.

Mango Sorbet

250 ml Mango pulp (tinned)
185gm sugar syrup (cooled)
1 tablespoon lemon or lime juice (2 if you want it to be less sweet)

Make sugar syrup by simmering 300 gm sugar and 150ml water together very gently.
Add lemon juice and mango pulp
Freeze in a plastic container for 5 - 10 hrs stirring occasionally (at least twice) to break up any ice crystals.

Have fun!
