Yes that's the last bit I'm doing, bloody chickens kept getting in my way today lol

You are not planning to put your parrot in with the chickens?

No just the coop is in the corner of the run but that will be caged off the chickens will live outside

looking really good. make sure you can access all sides of chicken house when finished as it is sometimes needed when get mite plus hens can be inclined to sit under/on top of house & poop so you need full access for cleaning

Thanks sunnyring I have made it so they cant really get anywhere but in and out the door, however I have made it so I can get it out if I need to and made a big removable door on the front for access and cleaning.

Is the any previous posts in the forum about safe plants for the aviary?

Had a chat with DizzyBlue regarding the tree trunk..and conclusion is...not worth the risk. We don’t know what variety it is, how long it’s been there, what has been on it, whether any fungus associated, etc, etc.

There is going to be a door on the cave at the end eventually to add a bit more shelter during super bad weather but they will live outside all year
