Anyone would adopt my parrot?

Hi all,

You may have seen a previous post from me, about my parrot (8 years old, male, orange winged Amazon) being laud and screaming all the time.
We tried everything, tried to be patient, tried to paly more, tried to watch videos and tutorials, nothing helped.
Do you know of anyone who would have Gerry? It is with a broken heart I say this, I failed, I am a terrible person and pet owner. But I simply cannot take it anymore, it is ruining my life.
I would not just give him away to anyone, so if there is anyone please be prepared to answer questions. I would prefer a sanctuary or somewhere I am sure he would be forever and not (as I horribly did) for part of his life.
I am heart broken, so please do not judge me.

Hi, sorry to hear you have made your decision to rehome Gerry. Maybe one of our members will now offer a forever home.
There are rescues as we all know who would find Gerry a good home but it is forum policy not to mention the names,

I'm sorry that your situation with Gerry isn't any better and it's been some weeks now since you first came to the forum for advice so l can imagine that you have given everything you can.
Whilst I can't help you l hope someone will be able to offer to take Gerry, or you find a sanctuary for him.

you have not failed, do not put your self down as each parrot is an individual and I know how loud they can get. its like some children will cry a lot. I will love to work with him for you and change his ways and hopefully return him to you a much better and quieter bird. he will be in the company of other amazons and spend most of his time out the cage. lucky that i have very understanding neighbours on the farm whom do not mind the calls of my flock. I will most likely find him quiet compared to my sulphur crested Too Buster Ha Ha. He will be in a home situation with other species, If I did not think I could help you and Gerry I would not offer, I have trained parrots including OWA owing to noise issues and do not want you to fill you have to say goodbye forever.

Hi and thank you so much for your reply. I will contact you via message, as I have soooo many questions and still feel so upset at the thought. x
