Have you settled on a name yet? If he was an April hatchling, he will be roughly the same age as Jessie, or maybe a little younger.

As you see from this photo, she has a few red/orange feathers appearing on her forehead. She has none on her wings (where Jardines often get them), but there are a couple of small ones on her ankles. It looks like she is due to lose some top layer on her beak, and that's why it looks a bit flaky. Adult beaks are bone coloured at the top, gradually darkening to the tip. You can see that coming through underneath - the beak of babies/juveniles is nearly all dark.
