I’ve found me in Dorchester don’t know what type looks the same and says 3m on the filter, are they quiet ? As will be in the living roomHave a good mooch at second hand see what is to be had? I know there are still the 3M FAP 02 and 03's out there but I think the filters are getting harder to find. Seen a 03 for £15. My FAP02 has been and still is great. I get away with one filter a year as able to hoover it out and then get the machine to check it's status for me.
Yeah I’ve just seen that found them for £25 but most are around £30-£40 ishsee what you can get filters for hun Ive seen £42 for one!
I bought one of these:

You can turn off the functions you don't want and change the settings on it.
I have the Heaven Fresh XJ-3800A AIR PURIFIER. I have the older model (without the remote) and recently I bought the newer version:
The newer version is quieter than the older one, but they are both pretty quiet on "Quiet" setting. New one is almost silent. You have to wash the grid and first filter monthly. There is another carbon filter that you are meant to change every 6 month. But I eke it out to a year with regular vaccuming. You can find these filters on Amazon for £35. With the older model you can't turn off the UV light which is annoying at night, so I covered it with blue tack. With the new one you can turn it off with the remote.
I hated the Levoit.
The above looks interesting, CaptainHowdy! Can you turn the ioniser off?
