66 And Still Laying Eggs

Wisdom had previous mates before this one but she outlived them and each time eventually took a new mate as they pair bond for life

Well Wisdom returned again in November 2021 and was seen near her usual nest site waiting patiently for her partner but sadly her mate Akeakamai has not returned and is feared lost, Wisdom then decided to fly off and go wandering as breeding won't be happening since Akeakamai didn't return from his travels Wisdom was last seen on 5th December before taking to the sky. Her partner was named and translates to "a lover of wisdom". They have met up every year since 2006 within a day of two of each others arrival.
She is apparently somewhere in her 70's now
One of her previous chicks who hatched in 2001 has been sighted sitting on her own nest cup just 200 yards away from where mum usually sits and where it was hatched.

This was the last sighting of Wisdom waiting patiently for her partner before she knew he wasn't returning and shethe bird doing a wing stretch.
