    With the winter thing, it was things like keep the daylight shorter (cover them earlier)so they think it's winter, therefore won't want to breed (as this plucking may be something to do with wanting to breed?)

    If they aren't in the new place I'll get them no problem. I know it can be from the gas cooker, just didn't know if a fire gives off anything else that might be dangerous. Like does it depend on the kind of wood that is burned etc
