Oh my, that had to hurt! Jake did that to my husband. He flew after him one morning when he uncovered the cage, landed on his head and bit right close to his right eye. Maurice had a shiner for 3 weeks.

Glad to hear that Ruby is steadily improving. How can she not with a daddy like you. Please keep us posted on Ruby's progress.

Wish I could help Karen, but I never had but one bird.  But giving them each their own playtime for a little while doesn't sound like a bad idea. Hope everything will work itself out!

Hi Bob, I just now saw your post and I am so sorry to hear about your Ruby. But I know that with your loving care Ruby will persevere. As you said, she is a fighter. I sent my best wishes and healing thoughts to you and Ruby for a speedy recovery.
