Both chicks are spending most of their time at the entrance while their mum visits the nest and settles every single woodshavings. And then a chick may get back there and messes everything. And then she gets back again and arranges the nest again 🙂

Someone’s getting tempted to get out. The oldest one is spending hours and hours at the door step watching us all 🙂

They climb to the second floor and chill with mum and dad but they like playing with those wood shavings at the nest so they get back down there and I can feed them :) In a couple of weeks or three they should leave the nest permanently 🙂

All Those previous weeks she would stay with me checking and participating a little. Marcus was tolerant as long as she was there with me supervising and as long as I would keep it short. But she chose to leave me and feed them on my own and undisturbed. Marcus feels weird leaving those chicks...

she used to be with me while I was feeding her chicks. As those chicks grow bigger she noticed that 3 parrots and my two hands is too much for this nest I guess. So she leaves us and secures the entrance. Marcus is not allowed interfering until I’m done feeding

I’m feeding those chicks only with her. Several times (just before sunset) while I’m there with her feeding her chicks, she leaves me completely alone with them so that I fill them up. Is weird I know but Marcus cooperates too. If she’s ok and those chicks are not screaming he is so tolerant
