Thats true. So much in such a small package. He just let met give him a headscratch inside his cage before putting his nightcover on!!! Totally worth the perforation haha.

Lol I wish it was like that for us..he doesn't nip. Its more a feeling of someone using a clipping tool on your skin :p Good tip though, will definitly try it out!

Yea apart from turning our heads away we are doing exactly that. He also just took a treat from my hand INSIDE his cage. We usually only give an almond when he does something good but he was such a good boy and he needs to gain some weight so some cheating now and then is to be excused haha. So...

Think that only looks like that haha. He is still very much uncomfy on her arm. He stands still but he doesn't look like he has a relaxed posture. Maybe we're wrong! I came home from work and little bit after I trained the 3rd time of the day with him. He did very well and at one point he was...

Ah then we will get a second misting bottle :) One for just water when he is not moulting and one for the aloe vera mix :) I found that Fushi in NL too. If its the same but would be surprised if it isnt.

Ah so not mixing it but a seperate misting bottle with just the Fushi in it?

That sounds like a great idea. And you mix that aloe vera juice with the water of the misting bottle? We might have to get an even finer one as we use a fine plant misting one at the moment. We are very hopeful and positive too about his progress and he just needs to feel included and loved again.

We hope so yea. No doubt we still make mistakes but we are relatively new but he does seem to be very happy and is slowly getting out of his shell and see's theres no danger or need for plucking his feathers. And he gets all the almonds he wants (if he does something worthy of a treat ofc!)...

Phew ill try to answer it all hehe. He did say the wings should grow back normally yea and we don’t plan on getting them clipped again so in a few weeks or maybe more he will hopefully start to moult. I guess it makes sense to not change his pellets right now yea. We can always mix the new...

Well we went to the vet and got some answers but it also opened more questions :/ - He is a male - His wings could have been clipped nicer but nothing harmfull - His wingfeathers look like they have been plucked and damaged by either his cage friend or himself out of boredom at the back of that...

Well he is definitly getting more comfy. Ailin was sitting in the pc room next to the living room but not in his sight and he started to like have a rant. Almost sounded like talking. She talked back to him and they had like a sort of conversation where he wasn't happy about her not being on the...

    Raw Buckwheat / Quinoa

Saying that a sprouting bottle will prob not have 100 grams of peas in it so per gram that would be 0,0003gr salt per gram peas. Surely thats not dangerous anymore?

    Raw Buckwheat / Quinoa

I am looking at starting to sprout some tonight or a basic one at least with quinoa and buckwheat but i also got a pack of dried green peas i want to add to the sprouting mix. I know parrots shouldnt get salt so im looking at that closely. Now I saw that the pack of 500grams of dried green peas...

Yea we have the same. She tied a plastic strip to the roof so it doesnt fall down when he climbs or stands on it. Still need to get a chain cause cutting those straps every day is a bit costly over a longer period of time xD
