    Eclectus female called Bella
i have recently adopted an 11 month old Eclectus female called Bella. When we got her she was not used to being handled at all. We couldn't even stroke her beak. We have had her just under 3 weeks and I am able to kiss her beak and stroke her back and she will step onto my hand and arm within the cage and she grooms my lips and cheek. She has regurgitated a bit of egg for me, but that may just have been because she tried to swallow too large a piece. At the moment she is cage bound. We have 5 dogs who have now got used to her in her cage but who will need to learn to be gentle and kind with her. I am a bit unsure about how to start to let her out of the cage. The first time we tried a week ago was a disaster as she spooked and flew behind the tv. My husband had to grab her and now she is a bit wary of him.:budgie::emoji_dog::emoji_dog::emoji_dog::emoji_dog::emoji_dog:
