    Decided to make a perch for the counter top opposite his cage for when he eventually has the courage to come out . I have some artificial grass that I was going to line the bottom with but not sure if this is safe .

    Another question is what is best to place in the pull out tray for cleaning. Can you use puppy training pads?

    This is where he is at the min . When he’s a little more settled I plan on putting him in a larger cage . I also have a floor standing wooden perch which I’ve made with toys and food bowls on . This can be moved around the house but ideally when we are sat in at night he will be free to come out .
