As my alexandrine parrot is still new, I did not want another parrot. However, one of my relatives gave me a female IRN parrot thinking he would need company, which I don't think he would, and let's just say neither of us enjoys it. I know that Alexandrines loves their solitudes and independence. However, unlike him, Emerald likes going around the cage, which he did not appreciates and would bit her if she touches him accidentally, even if it's just the tip of her tail. I had wanted to put them in separate cages because I have done research on making two parrots close, but due to others saying they will get closer if they stay in the same cage and because it is hard to get new cages by now, they're stuck with each other. Although he wouldn't do anything if she's just sleeping in front of him (he watches her but wouldn't harm her), he would peck her if she comes too close or touches him as I have mentioned above. I will try to get a new cage as soon as possible, but in the meanwhile, please give me advice. I pity both of them and can't help but just try to separate them whenever Charlie tries to peck her. Although he did try multiple times to peck her, he never really peck her. She would run away and he won't chase her. We don't scold him a lot though, since we know he'll get hurt. (We did once, and he make his sad sound.) I hope u guys can help me again this time. And I don't know where to post this thread, so I just post it here. Please forgive me if I don't answer immediately!
