Forgot about the little shelves this company makes they may be of interest am sure you could knock up a few of these too.
Yup they are willow
Those look great, thank you.Forgot about the little shelves this company makes they may be of interest am sure you could knock up a few of these too.
perfect thank you, some have like a yellow moss, growth, I assume scrub this off and just generally make sure they are clean ?Quick wash down removing any wild bird poop will do
Bark left on
thanks, as for our tree, i'm loving this "make my own" thing, i'm going to try perches, then ladders and then i want to make him a bridge, if it was me and safe id certainly make some toys and bits out of it.Lol those fluffy worm things are called Catkins!
Looks like Willow to me.
Am not sure whether to dig up and give away our Olive tree or to use the wood for perches according to google they are safe.
cheers, i'll have another go, all i found was twisted type wire cable which will have oil/grease in it.If you do a search on the web for SS wire, some wire company should come up, that is how I find some and is not expensive.
driving for essential reasons, i believe free willow will fall in to the categoryAnyone needing willow should call at our place in Lincolnshire, we have 3 big willow trees which we have to pollard or the house will fall down (but not if this pandemic finishes and I can move out). If you feel like a day out, is it allowed yet?
Bamboo it is next, going to need a bigger bucketBrilliant idea and since you have done that really really well your next bucket growing session should be bamboo but be warned keep it in a bucket that stuff goes crazy but the birdies love it
to be fair, that did make me chuckleMake sure there's a hole in your bucket dear Scotty, dear Scotty. Make sure there's a hole in your bucket dear Scotty a hole!
Sorry couldn't resist the old kiddies song
