It is an amazing place, we have been a few times over the years and I would go every year if I had my way! Their conference looks incredible, it’s only every 4 years and we couldn’t make the last one. Stafford is going ahead, both the Spring show in March (which we will be at) and the October one.

I’ve never been there and it’s not too far - think I foresee a visit in the next couple of weeks!

Is anyone planning to go to the Loro Parque convention in September? We are considering it - assuming travel is an option then!! It does clash with Stafford Show, and we usually take the Deli Nature stand down, but the convention seems too good to pass up. After the three days of lectures they...

All great advice from @Roz . Caiques can be very vocal - I have two and one will sometimes start screaming while he’s sitting on my shoulder, right in my ear! It took me ages to work out what was triggering him but it turned out to be the wood pigeons flying on and off the roof of the house...

Thanks. He’s had it about 18 months now and is stable at least. He had a CT scan at Edinburgh Vet Hospital last year and it was confined to his nares which is positive.

1:250 recommended by our vet for nebuliser. I’m using this for treating aspergillosis at the moment.

The conures are all £200, we have normal green cheeked, pineapple and yellow sided. All come with DNA certificate and a starter pack of seed and pellets. I think a conure could be a good choice for you, particularly if you are nervous about a larger bird. They have heaps of personality :)
